Welcome to North Dakota Real Estate

North Dakota, although it is the 17th largest state in land area, contains a population of approximately 600,000, which means that it is a great state for exploration and activity. It has been an important site of exploration for some time, having been the location of the Lewis and Clark expedition, along with Teddy Roosevelt’s cavalry "the Rough Riders" that he organized to fight in the Spanish-Indian War. To this day, North Dakota is sometimes called the Rough Rider State.

But along with being a good place for exploration and discovery, North Dakota is a good place to raise a family. A phenomenally low crime rate (58 compared to the national average of 100) with an even lower violent crime rate (only 16 compared to the national average of 100), along with clean air, a low cost of living, good traffic conditions, and an excellent high school graduation rate all contribute to North Dakota's welcoming community atmosphere.

In 2000, the median house value for a home in North Dakota was around $70,000.
